You’re welcome. My daughter was in a bar in Columbus, where all sports enthusiasm is usually Ohio State centered, there were cheers, shouting and crying. Amazing for even Columbus to be cheering for Cleveland, shocking.

I’ve been to many baseball games while living in a few states and it seems this time we have the love of other regions behind us. I just think its payback for all those times we’ve cheered on other cities teams when we weren’t in it to win it. I’ve had texts from Chicago and NC friends in support of our area. Its great.

I kind of like the idea that the entire country of Canada hates Cleveland, both for this and for knocking out the Raptors.

As a Torontonian who will follow any local team doing a good job no matter whether he’s interested in the sport or not, good riddance to the distraction that is baseball. Now I can concentrate on something way better... hockey.
